The Mobile Phone Museum is a unique digital museum dedicated to celebrating the history and evolution of mobile phones. With a growing archive of over 2,000 devices, it serves as an educational and cultural resource for anyone interested in the impact of mobile technology over the past four decades. The museum is operated as a not-for-profit initiative and is based in the UK, although its audience is international.

When the team at the Mobile Phone Museum got in touch, the priority was getting proper visibility on how the site was performing. They needed to understand how people were using the site, what content was working, and where improvements could be made. We handled the full setup of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), making sure it was configured to track the metrics that actually matter to them. This included setting up custom events, meaningful conversion tracking, and reports that gave a clearer picture of user behaviour. We also set up Google Tag Manager for flexible event tracking and integrated Google Search Console to monitor how the site performs in search results.

We also provided practical advice on how their content could be structured and measured to support their long-term digital plans. By helping the team see how visitors move through the site, which areas were working well, and where people were dropping off, we gave them the insight needed to improve both content and functionality.
